Caution Your Words

Criticism weakens you, not others. -Clare Angelica What you say about somebody else, anybody else, reveals you. -James Baldwin

Words, words, words, words, words… We all use them. We take them for granted. We don’t think before using them. We think too long before using them. We loose them. We fear them. We love them.

Mind your p’s and q’s.

Does it feel good trashing someone else? Does it feel good singing another’s praise?

We tend to forget that our words – those sounds that come out of our mouth – are a reflection of ourselves. Are you using them kindly? Are you using them for intimidation? Are you using them as daggers? Are you using them as flowers?

Our words are one of the simplest steps we can take in changing our character. Change your vocabulary and you will change your results.
