You know you’re doing something right when people have an opinion… whatever that may be. And you know you’re doing even better than that when you truly don’t care what they have to say because you’re doing your thing and loving it. Do what you do for you.
Shock them. Devastate them. Make them fall in love. Make them feel hate. Make them angry. Make them miserable. Bring them through recovery. Show them the light at the end of the tunnel and then shroud them in darkness. Take your readers on a journey that seduces all their senses and shakes up their world. Make them feel.
THAT is what good writing is all about!
