“I see peace as the acceptance of conflict, not the absence of conflict.”
–Zachary, Longmire – Season 4
The character Zachary from Longmire Season 4 is played by Barry Sloane, and his character has been through some…trauma. BUT, Zach is a Tai Chi disciple and shares some wisdom to the Sheriff — hence the above quote.
Acceptance…is key to the progression of life. You must first accept so that you can you can move forward in balance, as opposed to imbalance.
Remember that life has an ebb and flow — conflict is there just as much as peace is, but it is your choice what you choose to see. It is your choice what you choose to be. It is your choice where you choose to live your life.
If you need help, get it. If you need to be alone, do it. If you need to be around people, immerse yourself. If you need a life change, enact it.
Your life starts and ends with you — and no one else. If you don’t like the world you have surrounded yourself in, step out of it and recreate it.

P.S. If you haven’t seen Longmire, you are seeking a new spin on law and order, have an affinity for tribal affairs, loved Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica (and Aidan from Revenge), and like the appeal of the West with a modern twist, check it out. Especially look into Season 2, Episode 1 — it was filmed in and around my hometown!!!

I’m Neely come to Longmire and just saw the episode. “Michigan” and Zach’s commentary: BOOM in my brain, echoing the words to both. Your words say all I feel.
