In my opinion, this is one of the best songs EVER!!! !!! Jonny Lang has an incredibly soulful voice that makes this song the masterpiece that it is. And at 17, on his third album, Jonny knows that the only thing you can trust is “the way it makes you feel”.
Analyze, critique, ignore, over-think… anything and everything. Its what we do. We don’t trust ourselves to know the right answer the minute it hits our brains. Instead we choose to think about it, and dismiss what we are feeling.. because that feeling is so right, its scary.
The thing that will never, ever, lie to you … is the way something makes you Feel, no matter what the situation is.
If we begin to Feel life, instead of constantly thinking about it, we will all be much happier. We will be able to access things quicker and know whether they are right or wrong for us.
