People say so many words…usually without meaning. They are trying to make themselves feel better about their decisions, they are trying to prolong taking action, or they are just completely full of hot-air.
Some people don’t actually want to make a change…BUT they sure love telling you about all this stuff they are going to do (that never actually gets done).
I don’t want to hear it.
“Actions speak louder than words” / “Action conquers fear” – these are cliches for a reason — because they’re TRUE!
Words hold no value when you are speaking of anything of importance. ACTION is what shows the world you aren’t full of b*llsh*t.
We spend so much time talking about what we are going to do rather than taking that energy and applying it to our task, our goals.
Can you imagine what we would all accomplish if we zipped our lips and did what it is we said we are going to do!?
Life would be so easy.
The energy it takes to ho-hum about doing something is more than the energy it would take to actually do the thing you were ho-humming about.
The human mind, the human body is much stronger and much more resilient than we give it credit for. Ever notice how some decisions are a walk in the park while others feel like the devil is at your door taunting you?
The difference is this: in the “walk in the park” scenario you made the choice – no fear, no doubt, no worry – and you never looked back. — in “it feels like the devil’s at your door” scenario you allowed (let) fear and indecision win, you looked back.
If you say you’re going to quit something, quit. If you say you are going to do something, do it. Make the decision and stick with it.
STOP procrastinating.
Shut up and take ACTION.
