Henry David Thoreau

“It is not enough to be busy. So are the ants. The question is, What are we busy about?”

-Henry David Thoreau

Being busy, just to be busy, is an act of denial. Keeping yourself so busy that you barely have time to think is an act of running away.

Ask yourself what you are hiding so fiercely from and turn around and face it — there is no other way to overcome that which you are running away from.

Grow up and deal with it! Move forward.

Be busy with events that you truly enjoy, with people that you care about, and don’t forget to take a break every once and awhile.
