CHEERS! Thank you, Anne, for putting it so simply yet eloquently. I love writing. My love for it is hard to put into words because the feeling is truly indescribable. I just know how it makes me feel. Writing grants me freedom, creativity, inspiration, expression, and so much more. Writing allows me to say all the things I haven’t (or didn’t … or can’t). Writing gives me access to other worlds. Writing allows me to have abilities that don’t exist and interact with creatures that have long since perished.
When I write I get to live through my characters. It takes me away as I hope it does for my readers as they turn the pages of my stories.
Living a life at the same time I am living my own is exhilarating. Find your passion, and try it. You’ll feel it, I promise.
