Advice From Arthur Miller

“A character is defined by the kinds of challenges he cannot walk away from. And by those he has walked away from that cause him remorse.”

-Arthur Miller

Beautifully put, Mr. Miller.

Your character is built upon moments (big and small) that define you. Every step you take is a step within the character you are creating.

Who do you want to be?

Who are you becoming?

Who are you really sculpting into the person that you are?

We are not always the person we wished we were as we catch our reflection in the mirror. If you find that you don’t like who it is that you see — you, and only you, have the power to change the reflection.

No, it isn’t easy, but it is easier than you think to step out of the person you are becoming and recreate yourself into something new — into someone you admire.

Be your own best supporter.

Write your own story and be the best character that you can be within the pages that you walk.

Accept the challenge.
